FRINGE FRIDAY: Week of October 4th
five things i’m into this week on the fringes of music, culture, art & life
in my ears: Music to slow your heart rate & help you chill
When my friend Carly told me about this song, Weightless Part 1 I immediately put it on because she said it’s supposed to make you chill out. An hour later, total mood change. Which makes sense, considering everything is energy & all vibrations impact the current of our body. This music by Marconi Union was created to lower your heart rate and help you relax. It works.
what I’m reading: Mind to Matter // Dawson Church
”We can also choose the path of energy. When people change energetically, matter follows right along…we address out problems at the level of cause rather than effect.”
Poetic justice: This is for the women who don’t give a fuck // janne robinson
”This is for the women who seek relentless joy; the ones who know how to laugh with their whole souls.”
mind travel: Anthony Bourdain // Parts Unknown last episodes
This is still surreal to me, and to many people I’m sure. Next week Tony goes to Indonesia—and I don’t know what makes me more excited, watching his scoop on places I’ve been, or where I want to go. No one captured the road like him.
